Packaging and label design
Packaging & Label Design
Sándor Tamás Cheese Manufactory
Sándor Tamás Cheese Manufactory · Packaging & Label Design
A label system for different types of cheese commissioned by Barna Design. I developed the visual direction selected from several concepts into a uniform packaging graphic that can be applied to different product variants.

The task
The cheese factory's previously used packaging and labels, the predefined dimensions, and the information to be displayed were the starting point. Based on these, a new visual appearance had to be created that would represent the factory in a distinctive way and could be used consistently across different cheese varieties.
The label had to simultaneously present the product on a limited surface, convey its nature, and clearly arrange the necessary content elements.
My own role
I carried out the work directly commissioned by Barna Design. As a first step, I created several different visual directions and design variants. From these, Gergő Barna selected the concept to be further developed, which I elaborated in detail for the presentation for the cheese factory.
Based on Tamás Sándor's feedback, we modified some details, and then I prepared the different product versions of the approved label system and the graphic materials necessary for production.
The design decisions
In the chosen direction, the character of the manufactory and the type of cheese had to determine the appearance of the label. A visual hierarchy was needed in which the brand, product name and information that varies by variety were clearly separated, while the label functioned as a unified whole.
The system's consistent graphic structure ensured the product family's recognisability, while the variable content elements allowed for the differentiation of individual cheese varieties. This way, each label functioned independently, yet clearly belonged to the same product family.
The solution in practice
The chosen concept resulted in a ready-to-use label system that could be used for multiple cheese varieties. The unified structure gave the product line a consistent look while allowing enough flexibility to handle different product names and information.
CHEF OLIVE
Product Label & Packaging Graphics
Chef Olive’s packaging design aims for a more distinctive, prominent shelf appearance. The work was built around label graphics, visual highlighting of product benefits and integration of mandatory information. The goal was to create a packaging that simultaneously gives the impression of a traditional product, yet remains easy to interpret and visually organized.

PRM BRND PREVENTION
Packaging Design & Promotional Visual
The work for PRM BRND Prevention combined the visual design of a textile mask packaging and the associated promotional appearance. The task included the graphic system of the front, back and side surfaces of the box, the creation of a hierarchy of product information and the creation of a unified visual character of the packaging.
The promotional visuals related to the packaging are built from this same visual world, so the product and communication work as a unified system.
